The filter is unused and comes with its original period BMW box. Due to long-term storage, the box has considerable age-related wear, dirt, staining, creasing and damaged edges. The filter itself may show light storage dust, marks or discolouration.

Because this is an older paper filter element, it should be carefully inspected for brittleness, moisture damage, loose sealing material or damaged pleats before installation. Please examine all photographs carefully for the exact condition.

Installation recommendation

Clean the inside of the air-filter housing before installation. Make sure the filter sits evenly against the sealing surfaces and that the housing closes without forcing it.

Do not wash the paper filter or clean it with high-pressure compressed air. Replace or do not install the filter if the paper media, seal or pleats show signs of deterioration.
