Genuine used BMW thermostat housing for early M30 inline-six engines, featuring a casting/date marking from 1969.

This is an early original BMW aluminium housing with one empty threaded sensor port. No temperature sensor is installed or included.

Suitable for restoration, refurbishment or use as an original replacement on a compatible early BMW M30 engine. Because BMW used several housing and sensor configurations, always compare the connections and casting design before ordering.

Condition

Cleaning and careful inspection are required before installation. Replacement of the thermostat, gaskets, seals and other service components is recommended.
