BMW M30 Intake Manifold (1976) Coolant Cover – 11611250693 (E3, E9, E12)

Original used BMW aluminium coolant-heating cover for the rear intake manifold of early carburettor-equipped M30 engines.

This cover mounts underneath the rear section of the aluminium intake manifold used with the factory Zenith carburettors. Engine coolant circulates through the cover to warm the intake manifold and improve fuel vaporisation, particularly during cold running.

The casting is marked 1 250 694.9 and carries a 1976 casting date. The corresponding BMW catalogue number is 11611250693.

Condition

This is an original used part with age- and use-related wear. Visible characteristics include:

• Aluminium oxidation and surface discolouration
• Coolant deposits and staining

• Oxidation around the coolant-hose connections
• Remnants of the old red manifold gasket on the mounting face
• General cosmetic wear consistent with an original 1976 component

The component has not been pressure-tested. Cleaning, inspection and pressure-testing are recommended before installation. The mounting surface should be cleaned carefully and a new gasket should be fitted.
