Genuine BMW New Old Stock front windscreen sealing frame for the classic BMW 02 Series Touring.

This rubber seal is installed between the front windscreen and the body aperture. It is specifically designed for the Touring body and is not the same as the windscreen seal used on the standard two-door saloon.

The BMW 02 Touring uses a differently shaped and taller front windscreen. This makes the correct Touring-specific sealing frame essential for proper fitment and weather sealing.

This sealing frame is specifically intended for the Touring body. It is not suitable for the standard BMW 1502, 1602, 1802, 2002 or 2002tii two-door saloon without the Touring body.

Genuine BMW New Old Stock component that has never been installed.

The original BMW parts label and opened packaging are present. Due to its age and long-term storage, the following may be visible:

• Storage dust and surface marks
• Light surface discolouration
• Marks caused by folding and coiled storage
• Ageing and wear to the original packaging
• Temporary deformation caused by long-term storage

As this is an older NOS rubber component, its flexibility and condition must be carefully checked before installation. No guarantee can be given regarding age-related hardening, shrinkage or loss of elasticity.

Allowing the seal to rest unfolded in a warm environment before installation may help it return to its original shape.

Before installation:

• Clean the windscreen and body aperture thoroughly
• Inspect the windscreen aperture for rust or previous repairs
• Use an installation method suitable for classic bonded-free windscreens
• Install the correct filling rubber separately if required

Professional installation by an experienced classic-car glazing specialist is strongly recommended. Incorrect installation can damage the windscreen, rubber seal or painted windscreen aperture.
