Original used Bosch auxiliary air slide valve for selected BMW E28 and E30 models equipped with an M10 fuel-injection engine.

The auxiliary air slide valve provides the engine with additional bypass air during a cold start. This raises the cold idle speed and helps the engine run smoothly while warming up. As the valve heats up, its internal opening gradually closes and the idle speed returns to its normal operating level.
