This moulded rubber weatherstrip seals the left front door against the body aperture, helping prevent water, wind, dust and road noise from entering the passenger compartment.

The seal fits the left-hand side regardless of whether the vehicle is left-hand drive or right-hand drive. On a left-hand-drive vehicle this is normally the driver’s door, while on a right-hand-drive vehicle it is normally the passenger door.

This seal is intended for the four-door Neue Klasse saloon. It is not listed for the BMW 02 Series two-door saloon, 2000 C/CS coupé or later E12, E21, E23 and E24 models.

Genuine BMW New Old Stock component that has never been installed.

The seal is supplied in old original BMW packaging. Due to its age and long-term storage, the following may be present:

• Ageing and discolouration of the packaging
• Storage dust and marks
• Folding or pressure marks in the rubber
• Temporary deformation caused by long-term packaged storage
• Age-related surface discolouration

The seal has not been removed from the packaging for a complete inspection. Because this is an older NOS rubber component, its flexibility and condition must be checked before installation.
